Privacy

Nothing you enter here leaves your browser, because there is nowhere for it to go: no analytics, no cookies, no storage, no forms and no third-party requests anywhere in this build.

What this site collects

Nothing. In detail:

Where your measurements go

Nowhere. All calculation happens in your browser, in JavaScript that was downloaded with the page. The numbers you type are held in the page while you use it and are gone when you close the tab. Nothing is transmitted, logged or shared, and there is no copy of it anywhere for anyone to request, sell or lose.

The one thing your browser does send

The ordinary request for this site's own pages, stylesheet, script and images, to the host that serves them. That produces standard server access logs — the sort every web server keeps, and which typically include an IP address, a timestamp and the file requested. Those logs are created by the hosting infrastructure rather than by this site, and this site does not add to them, enrich them or read them for any purpose.

Links to other organisations

The source register links to published guidance on other organisations' websites. Those are ordinary links: following one takes you to their site, under their terms and their privacy practices, exactly as clicking any link does. They carry no tracking parameters and no redirect, and this site is not told when you follow one.

The area hand-off, precisely

The garden area calculator can pass a total into another calculator by putting it in the address bar, as ?area=45.2694&unit=m2. Only those two parameters are ever read; every other parameter is ignored entirely. The value is validated by the same parser and the same bounds as anything you type, and if it is malformed or out of range it is discarded silently and the page loads as a normal first visit. It is never written to storage and never transmitted — it travels in your own address bar and nowhere else.

Printing

The print record is produced by your own browser's print function from the page already on your screen. No print or PDF service is involved, and nothing is uploaded to produce it.

What this page deliberately does not say

It makes no claim about a legal basis for processing, names no data controller, states no retention period and describes no rights request procedure. That is not an omission: there is no processing to describe and no organisation identity to invent. A privacy notice that borrowed the language of data protection compliance without any data to protect would be less honest than this one, not more.
